Elections

  • Town elections are generally held the second Tuesday in June followed the next day by Town Meeting.
  • The Polling Place is the Ladd Recreation Center
  • Polling hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
 

 How do I register to vote?

You may request a voter registration card in person at the Town Office, or make a telephone request for one to be sent to you.  All cards must be returned in person to the Registrar.  Please bring a signed photo ID or drivers license with you.

  How do I vote absentee?

To request an absentee ballot:

1) in person at the Town Office

2) by telephone at (207) 685-4983 (You may only request your own absentee ballot by phone, each family member must request their own ballot.)

3) by e-mail*   * you must use the request form generated through the Secretary of State.  Use the link above or go to Maine.gov  Use the search bar to type in Absentee Ballot Request Form.  It should pop up once you begin typing.  Click on Absentee Ballot Request Form and follow instructions.

 Where do I vote?

The polling place for the Town of Wayne is located at the Ladd Recreation Center, 26 Gott Road, Wayne.  Unless otherwise noted, polling hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
